With only a few weeks left until my ride it has dawned upon me I need to start getting things ready.  I have a busy few weeks ahead and need to re arrange my training as I start my new job.
I have spoken to a good friend of mine who is going to help design my logo for my shirt and I will be speaking to RIDE cycles about getting my bike into tip top condition.  With all of this to be done I will still need to arrange the food and spares yet alone the accomodation, which hopefully I will here about soon.  So as the training progresses I have managed to maintain a good milage and have done around about 70 miles in the last couple of days.   With my wife being at work and myself needing to stay close by for James I decided to create a circuit  close to home.
This circuit contains a nice variation of flat and hills (both ups and downs) and plenty of twists and turns and is almost 4.5 miles long.  I have done this 16 times over the total of 2 days and also a have managed a couple of runs as well.
However, I have started to notice a dull ache in my left achillies and have decided to rest incase of  making it worse.  I'm actually looking forward to getting back into the gym tomorrow for some upper body and core work.
Today was a nice chilled out day with a drive to High Force with my family its days like today my mam liked to here us talking about.
